Welcome to the Mega Man EXE Forever After Home Page![]
This wikia serves as the home page for EXE Forever After, an unofficial timeline project originally founded on September 1st, 2015, with the goal of bridging the 200-year gap between Mega Man Battle Network 6 and Mega Man Star Force. It is essentially an archive for the cancelled fangame project Mega Man Battle Network Legacy, maintained by the developers for posterity and to serve as inspiration for anyone's future fan efforts.
This archive is maintained by former members of Team ACDC (the development team of the cancelled 2009-2012 The Rockman EXE Zone-hosted fan game project Mega Man Battle Network Legacy). Project Legacy was intended to be a sequel that followed the story 25 years after the end of Battle Network 6 starring Lan and MegaMan's sons, Patch Hikari and MegaMan Junior, and introduced early versions of technology found in the Star Force series.
This archive assumes that there exists a continuous, fluid “fanverse” using multiple forms of media that aims to connect the dots. For the foreseeable future, the events of Mega Man Battle Network Chrono X precede the events of Legacy in the timeline.
For now, this archive serves as a monument to all of the old Project Legacy's plot, character, and technology information as well as all of the past efforts that went into Project Legacy.
-----
Update: As of June 12th, 2016, this archive's status as a Project Legacy monument was finalized, due to the founders' inability to expand the timeline because of new developments in our personal lives. However, you are welcome to treat the events of Legacy described on this wiki as your headcanon, like I do. For the latest and greatest in the effort to keep the Battle Network series alive, visit Mega Man Battle Network Chrono X and support an incredible project.
